Chief Imam calls on wealthy Muslims to contribute to Islamic propagation

Affluent members of the Muslim community in society have been called upon to actively participate in furthering the cause of Islam in Niger State.
The call was made by Sheikh Attahiru Bala Dukku, the Chief Imam of Morris Jumaat Mosque located in Minna, the capital of Niger State.
Sheikh Dukku conveyed this message during a Friday sermon, which coincided with the official commissioning of the new mosque.
During his sermon, the esteemed Imam passionately emphasised the significance of congregational prayers on Fridays, underscoring their pivotal role in the practice of Islam.
He explained that the newly inaugurated mosque has been strategically designed to serve as a central hub for the propagation of Islamic teachings and values throughout Niger State.
Sheikh Dukku, in his capacity as a spiritual leader, appealed to those among the affluent Muslim community, urging them to consistently strive and generously contribute towards the advancement and development of Islam, both within Niger State and the broader context of Nigeria.
