Gov Bago hails appointment of Jibrin Ndace as DG VON
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has described the appointment of Jibrin Baba Ndace as the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of Voice of Nigeria (VON) as well deserved.
Governor Umaru Bago in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, thanked president Ahmed Bola Tinubu, for considering an indegine and son of the state for appointment into such an exalted position.
He noted that Baba Ndace was an astute journalist who has made his mark in the media industry.
The Governor stressed that the competence and capacity of Ndace to move VON to greater heights was not in doubt.
While expressing optimism that the new DG of VON will make Niger State in particular and Nigeria in general proud, he promised to give him all the needed support to succeed.
Jibrin Baba Ndace, a native of Niger State was a former chief press secretary to the former governor, Abubakar Sani Bello and has cut his mark in journalism profession with the Blueprint newspaper.
