Saudi-Africa Summit: Gov Bago holds talk with investors on food security
As part of efforts to woo potential investors to the state, Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has met with the Chief Executive Officer of Salik Food, Sulaiman Alrumaih, at the ongoing Saudi-Africa Summit to explore potential investments in food security for Niger State.
According to his Chief Press Secretary, Mal Bologi Ibrahim, governor Bago was making frantic efforts from all fronts to make sure that the state benefitted immensely from the ongoing summit.
Salik Food is the largest food company in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and is globally renowned among the largest food enterprises.
The company has a stake in Olam Foods in Kaduna State and Governor Bago is exploring possible ways to bring them to Niger State.
Governor Bago is not only focused on infrastructural development but striving hard also to revitalize Niger State in line with his vision for a New Niger.
