Niger Dep Gov salutes Prof Tachi, Engr Usman on their birthdays
Niger State Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, has felicitated with the former Commissioner for Tertiary Education in the state, Prof. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu Tachi, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Minna by his Press Secretary, Ummikhaltume Abdullahi Kuta, the deputy governor described Prof. Tachi as a shining light who has demonstrated uncommon resolve to the development of human resources through mentoring and the advancement of feasible policies.
He extolled the virtues of the first Professor of Estate Management from the northern region, saying he was an academician whose legacies will stand tall for generations.
He further commended the celebrant for being at the pinnacle of the drive to harness the potential of the next generation.
The Deputy Governor also appreciated him for always being supportive in both private and public endeavours, and more notably for the scholar’s counsel on the rudiment of his new responsibility as the Deputy Governor of Niger State.
The Deputy Governor, therefore, beseeched Allah for abundant grace in the life of Prof. M.B. Nuhu Tachi.
Similarly, Comrade Yakubu Garba has congratulated Engr. Usman Baba on the event commemorating his birthday.
The Comrade described Usman Baba as his younger brother and political ally who shares a common interest in the development of the state, and he prayed to Allah for continued guidance and protection for the celebrant.
