Police recruitment screening commences January 8, applicants advised to visit website
Residents of Niger State who had applied successfully for the 2023–2024 ongoing recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force constable cadre have been advised to visit https://www.policerecruitment.gov.ng and use their National Identification Number, NIN, to print out their invitation slip for physical and credentials screening, scheduled to commence from January 8 to 29, 2024.
The scheduled date for the screening exercise, according to the statement made available to newsmen by the Police Public Relations Officer PPRO, Niger State Command DSP Wasiu Abiodun, was embedded on the invitation slip, and candidates were to appear on a white T-shirt and shorts with their credentials arranged in two white office files and a recent passport photograph.
The statement further explained that physical and credentials screening exercises will take place at the Police Training School in Minna from 7 a.m. daily.
According to the PPRO, successful applicants were to come along with the following documents: a medical report of mental and physical fitness from a recognised government hospital; a character certificate from the village or district heads; and a certificate of origin signed by the local government area chairman or secretary.
Other items required included original and duplicate copies of credentials, O-level results, a birth certificate or declaration of age, a printout of the application form due to be completed, a guarantors form, and a screening invitation slip.
