NGSG signs pact with Boston Consulting Group on sustainable devt
Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has secured a partnership agreement with Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
The agreement, which was sealed at BCG's Boston office in the United States, tends to secure financing across several key areas such as agriculture, education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
Governor Umaru Bago, with this agreement, according to his chief press secretary, Mal. Bologi Ibrahim, was making bold his tireless efforts aimed at bringing investors to the state in various key areas of the economy.
The Managing Director at BCG and the global leader of the firm's Societal Impact and Agricultural Group, Shalini Unnikrishnan, hosted the event, which he described as key to the economic and sustainable development of Niger State.
The agreement will also have BCG aiding in the setting up and management of a transformational development and management office, including a project development office to provide technical assistance services directly to the governor's office.
Also present with the governor were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties, Dr. Bagana Murtala, Dr. Jean Pillard, and the Chairman of Niger Foods Limited, Mr. Sammy Adigun.
