Gov Bago condoles with Yobe counterpart over death of former governor
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has sympathised with the government and people of Yobe State over the death of Sen. Bukar Abba Ibrahim, a former governor of the state.
In a message signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the governor, Bago, expressed heartfelt condolences to his Yobe State counterpart, Mai Mala Buni, and the family of the deceased.
The governor said the pain of physical separation was enormous, but that as humans, we must accept the will of our maker.
He said the late Abba Ibrahim has served his state meritoriously at different times and in different capacities, pointing out that the good legacies he left behind would serve as consolation to the people of the state.
The governor then called on the government and people of Yobe State to remain steadfast even in their moments of grief and trust Allah for comfort.
He prayed to God to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljanna Firdausi.
The late Sen. Abba Bukar Ibrahim was the former governor of Yobe State and also a former senator for Yobe East.
