NSCDC bolsters security with 1,700 personnel for Eid-el Kabir
In anticipation of the Eid-el Kabir festivities, the Niger State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has strategically deployed over 1,700 personnel to fortify security throughout the state.
This robust security measure was announced by the state's commandant of the corps, Joachim Okafor, through a statement released by DSC Abubakar Mohammed Muti, the command's public relations officer. The deployment aims to ensure a peaceful and orderly celebration, with a strong emphasis on law enforcement and public safety.
Commandant Okafor has issued a stern warning against any attempt to disrupt the peace during this period. He assured that stringent actions would be taken against anyone caught inciting or engaging in disruptive activities.
The commandant's directive extends to all area commanders, divisional officers, and intelligence operatives to remain vigilant and safeguard critical infrastructure within their jurisdictions.
In his statement, Commandant Okafor also encouraged residents to freely partake in their legitimate activities and to contribute to the state's security by reporting any unusual or suspicious activities. He reaffirmed the NSCDC's unwavering commitment to the protection and well-being of all Niger State inhabitants during the holiday season.
