Niger State Acting Governor mourns former Chanchaga council chairman
Niger State Acting Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of the former Chairman of Chanchaga Local Government Area, Alhaji Yakubu Sallau.
In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Bologi Ibrahim, the Acting Governor extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, the leadership and people of Chanchaga Local Government Area, and the Minna Emirate Council.
Describing Alhaji Sallau as a generous, passionate, humble, committed, and hard-working individual, the Acting Governor highlighted his significant contributions during his tenure. He recalled that Alhaji Sallau was one of the most active and efficient local government council chairmen in the state, under whose leadership Chanchaga Local Government experienced remarkable transformation.
The Acting Governor prayed for Allah to grant the soul of the deceased entrance into Aljannah and to provide comfort to his family members, the leadership, and people of Chanchaga Local Government, as well as all those affected by his passing.
