Gov Bago expresses gratitude to Niger State citizens, leaders for continued support
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the citizens of the state for their unwavering support and understanding during his recent leave of absence.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago specifically commended his Deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba, for his active, passionate, and resilient leadership as acting governor. He praised Garba for steering the state's leadership effectively in his absence.
Governor Bago also extended his gratitude to the members of the state executive council, the legislature, the judiciary, traditional and religious leaders, and the heads of security agencies for their overwhelming support and contributions. He acknowledged the media's role in promoting the growth and development of Niger State.
Reflecting on his leave period, Governor Bago noted that it provided him with the opportunity to evaluate the impact of his administration's policies and programs. He emphasised his commitment to improving these initiatives for better service delivery to the people of Niger State.
Reaffirming his dedication to the New Niger Agenda, Governor Bago pledged to serve the people with renewed vigour and diligence.
