Niger State Police Command decorates five newly promoted senior officers
Five senior police officers serving under the Niger State Police Command, recently promoted from the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) by the Police Service Commission, were decorated with their new ranks by the state Commissioner of Police, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, in Minna.
During the end-of-month police command conference held at the Police Officers' Mess in Minna, CP Danmamman congratulated the officers, emphasizing that their promotions were well-deserved. He reminded them that with greater responsibility comes greater expectations, urging them to rise to the challenges of their new roles.
CP Danmamman further encouraged the newly promoted officers to engage in continuous self-development and maintain professionalism in their duties, as they now serve as strategic managers and role models within the police force.
The decoration ceremony was assisted by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, DCP Aminu Maiwada Garba.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, CSP Felix Onyeachu expressed gratitude to the Police Service Commission, the Inspector General of Police, and the Niger State Police Command for their roles in the promotions. He also thanked God for providing them with the health and strength to serve.
The newly promoted senior police officers are CSP Eyeku Kashim, DPO Tafa; CSP Mamman Isah, DPO Kutigi; CSP Sani Garba, DPO Ibbi; CSP Felix Onyeachu, DPO Kataeregi; and CSP Ojetunde Timothy, Area Command, Metro.
