Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has extended heartfelt congratulations to former Governor Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu on the occasion of his 69th birthday.
In a message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago expressed his warm felicitations to Dr. Aliyu, describing him as an exceptional, outspoken, and courageous leader. He highlighted Dr. Aliyu’s significant contributions to the growth and development of Niger State and Nigeria, particularly during his tenure as a Permanent Secretary at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and as the Governor of Niger State.
Governor Bago noted that the people of Niger State continue to benefit from the projects initiated during Dr. Aliyu’s administration. He also commended Dr. Aliyu’s willingness and commitment to supporting the current administration for the betterment of the citizenry, regardless of party affiliations, calling it unprecedented and commendable.
Expressing gratitude to Allah for His boundless blessings and for granting Dr. Aliyu another year, Governor Bago prayed for many more years of sound health and wisdom for Dr. Aliyu to continue his service to humanity.
