Gov Bago celebrates Col Sani Bello at 82, hails his philanthropy, service
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to former military administrator of Old Kano State, Col. Sani Bello (rtd), on his 82nd birthday.
Col. Sani Bello, father of the immediate past governor of Niger State and current Senator representing Niger North Senatorial District, Sen. Abubakar Sani Bello, was praised by Governor Bago for his humility and selfless philanthropy. The governor’s message, delivered through his Chief Press Secretary, Mal. Bologi Ibrahim, highlighted Col. Bello’s significant contributions to nation-building and his enduring commitment to societal betterment.
Governor Bago recalled Col. Bello’s active role as the Nigerian High Commissioner to Zimbabwe and his consistent dedication to public service even after his retirement.
