The Deputy Governor, who was the immediate past NLC Chairman in the state, used the occasion to call on the state's union leaders to be steadfast towards pursuing the welfare, well-being, and livelihoods of the entire civil servants in the state.
He also salutes the state workers for their doggedness and commitment to their jobs, describing them as the engine room of the government, without which the act of governance would be difficult.
He equally used the opportunity to commiserate with the Labour family over the demise of its two-term former NLC state chairman and one-time national vice president of the NLC, Comrade Adams Erena, saying his passing away is a great loss to the entire labour structure of the state and the country.
