Gov Umaru Bago continues engagement in US to attract foreign investors

The Governor of Niger State, Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, in the faraway United States of America, has been engaging with some global figures to discuss areas in which Niger State has a comparative advantage and where its potential can be tapped for mutual benefits.
The discussion of the governor with the world leaders centred on a strategic partnership in agriculture, education, energy, healthcare, and many other spheres of the economy.
Some of the personalities the governor met were the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina Jane Mohammed, Consular General of the Nigerian High Commission in New York, Ambassador Lot Peter Egopija, and Prof. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, Nigeria's Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
In a statement made available to Newsline by his Chief Press Secretary, Mal. Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago explained that his administration was committed to an enduring and sustainable partnership that will engender peace, mutual benefits, development, and prosperity for all citizens in the state.
