Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has presented a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) to Sahad Stores for the construction of its business branch in Minna City Centre.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago presented the C of O to the Chairman, Sahad Stores, Alh. Ibrahim Mijinyawa, in Abuja.
The governor expressed confidence that the operation of the business in Minna would not only boost socio-economic activities in the state but would also create job opportunities for citizens, thereby improving their standard of living.
The Chairman, Sahad Stores, Alh. Ibrahim Mijinyawa, appreciated the governor for his passion to develop the state. He appreciated the gesture of the governor for seeing that a branch of Sahad Store was established in Minna.
He assured the governor that work would commence on the site without delay.
Earlier, before the presentation of the CofO, Governor Umaru Bago inspected the Minna City Centre along with the chairman of the Sahad Stores, where he directed the commissioner for Lands and Survey, Barr. Maurice Magaji, to allocate suitable land to the Sahad Stores for the construction of its branch.

Niger State House of Assembly has called on the executive arm of government to include the construction of the roads linking Kataerigi to Majindadi and the reconstruction of Lemu-Sonmajiko-Beji in the 2024 appropriation bill.
This resolution was reached when the House adopted a motion moved by Hon. Yakubu Abdulmalik Bala, member representing Katcha constituency in the state House of Assembly.
Hon. Bala had argued that the lack of motorable roads in the terrain was affecting the socio-economic activities of Katcha, Gbako, and Bosso LGAs.
He explained that if the roads were fixed, it would help in combating crimes through the symbolic relationships of the local vigilantes by complementing themselves.
He added that the movement of farm produce and other foods and services from one market to another, like the Beji yam and cattle market in Bosso Local Government Area, and fish and rice movement from Katcha and Gbako local government areas, to other bigger markets will be made easy.
